V Lease ("V Lease", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.vlease.co.in, over WhatsApp, phone and email, and how we use and protect it. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Who we are

V Lease is a proprietorship firm owned by Varinder Singh, offering commercial and hotel leasing, property sales and property management across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and the Chandigarh Tricity. For the purposes of the law, V Lease is the "data fiduciary" for the personal information described here.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and handle your property requirement.

• Contact details: your name, mobile number, email address and, for businesses, your business name, location and website.
• Requirement details: what you share in our forms or messages, such as preferred cities, property type, area, budget, expected rent or price, timelines, hotel segment, and links to property photos.
• Appointment details: preferred date, time and meeting type when you book a call or visit.
• Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email.
• Basic website usage: which page a form was sent from, and which WhatsApp button was clicked. We do not use this to identify you.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us through the website, sensitive information such as bank account or card numbers, Aadhaar or PAN numbers, or passwords. When a deal needs documents, we will request them separately and securely.

3. How we use it

• To contact you about your enquiry by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• To find suitable properties, tenants, buyers, hotel brands or partners for you.
• To arrange site visits, meetings and calls you request.
• To prepare proposals, letters of intent and agreements when you go ahead with us.
• To keep records of our work and meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
• To improve our website and services, using non-identifying usage information.

We do not sell your personal information. We will not send you marketing messages unrelated to your enquiry unless you agree to receive them.

4. Consent

By submitting a form, messaging or calling us, you consent to us using your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us (see section 12). Withdrawal does not affect anything we did before it, and we may need to keep some records where the law requires.

5. Who we share it with

To do our job, we may share relevant details with:

• The other side of a potential deal, such as a property owner, brand, hotel operator or buyer, only to the extent needed to explore a match, and only after we have discussed it with you.
• Our partners and associates who help with site search, design, compliance, legal or marketing work for your requirement, under a duty of confidentiality.
• Service providers that run our tools (listed in section 6).
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Third-party services

Our website and work rely on these providers, which process information under their own privacy policies:

• Google: Google Sheets and Gmail to store and receive enquiries, Google Maps for the office map, and Google Fonts for the website's typefaces.
• WhatsApp (Meta): when you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
• Hostinger: which hosts our website.

Our website does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. The embedded Google Map and Google Fonts may set or read cookies as described in Google's policies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can follow up on your requirement or match you with new options. Records linked to a completed deal may be kept longer where tax, accounting or other laws require. After that, we delete or anonymise the information.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections on our website, access limited to people who need it, and password-protected accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will act promptly if a breach occurs, including informing you and the authorities where the law requires.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
• Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
• Ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent.
• Raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.

To use any of these rights, contact our grievance officer below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

Our services are meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
